Vallary’s father passed away in a tragic road accident, leaving her mother as the sole provider for the family. Her mother sells vegetables by the roadside, but her income is unstable and depends largely on the availability of fresh produce. As a result, she struggles to provide enough food for Vallary and her siblings,. To ensure she has adequate food, a safe place to live, and the opportunity to continue her education, Vallary currently lives at the Sommer Girls Center at the Ring Road campus.Education is Vallary's only hope to break free from the cycle of poverty.
