Trizzer’s father was killed by the militia when she was two months old. Her mother, Janentrix, is the sole breadwinner, and she takes on odd jobs to support her large family. Despite her mother’s tireless efforts, it is never enough, and there are nights when Trizzer and her siblings go to bed hungry. Trizzer is the youngest of nine children. Educaiton is Trizzer's only hope to break free from the cycle of poverty.
