Trixy is fortunate to live with both parents, Felix and Benta. His father is a day laborer, but jobs are scarce, and his income is unpredictable. Trixy’s mom, Benta, developed complications from a cesarean section after the birth of their youngest child. Her medical bills have drained the family, and her father has a hard time providing for his family's basic needs. She wants to be a special education teacher when she grows up. Education is Trixy's only hope to break free from the cycle of poverty.
