Tracy’s life is filled with abuse and neglect. Her father struggles with substance abuse and does not have consistent employment. Her mother does her best to provide for her children, but work is hard to find and her salary is unreliable. Tracy is often sick and does not always receive the proper medication due to limited funds. Most night Tracy and her family go to bed hungry. Education is Tracy's best hope for a brighter future.
