Success’s father, David, works as a subsistence farmer, but ongoing harsh weather makes it difficult to grow enough to sell and provide consistent meals for the family. Her mother, Mary, stays at home to care for Success and her four siblings. Education offers Success a path to break the cycle of poverty.
