Sofia has had a difficult life. Her father abandoned the family a few years ago. Her mother struggles to provide for Sofia and her two younger sisters. They live with Sofia's grandmother in a small house with a dirt floor. Sofia often eats only one or two meals per day. Sofia truly needs a helping hand.
