Sharon was orphaned at a young age. Her mother died several years ago, and Sharon's father is nowhere to be found. A foster mother from the family's church took in the five daughters who were left as orphans. The entire family now lives in a small house made of mud and iron sheets. There is no running water or electricity. They rely on subsistence farming for all of their food and income. Sharon loves school and hopes to become a teacher one day. Sponsorship will empower her to achieve these dreams.
