Shantel is a hardworking student. After her parents separated, her mother left without further contact. Her father struggled to care for the children alone. He enrolled Shantel and her brother at Lakeside Orphanage, where she now has clean water, electricity, nutritious food, and access to education. Education is Shantel's best hope for a future filled with possibility.
