Selina's chance at an education came at a great cost. Her mother was forced to leave her husband's home because his family believes educating girls is a waste of resources since they will eventually marry. Determined to give Selina a different future, her mother found another place to live so her daughter could attend school. But without financial support, keeping Selina in the classroom remains a struggle.
