Roselyn has experienced loss in her life. Her father has abandoned her. Her mother left Roselyn with relatives so she could go and pursue her education, so now this child is being raised by her grandparents. They are subsistence farmers who earn very little income from their work and must provide for a large family of 10 people. Roselyn's basic needs are not being met.
