Risper Ojwando
Risper's father is a fisherman on Lake Victoria, an inconsistent job that sometimes earns only $30 per month. Risper's mother weaves mats for a living and sells them in the village market. Risper's older sister had to drop out of school for lack of fees, so she helps them in weaving mats. In her free time, Risper also helps with the weaving business. She is talented in weaving intricate designs. Despite what seems to be laid out in her future, Risper hopes to complete her high school education and one day become a nurse. Will you support her?
