What Richard's family can grow in their garden is what they have to eat. Because there are eight children, there is not enough money to send them all to high school. Richard is a bright boy who likes to study mathematics. He has dreams of becoming an electrical engineer, but he needs support to pay his high school tuition and to meet his basic needs.
