Precious’s young life has been marked by challenges. Her mother suffered a snakebite leaving her disabled. Following this, her father abandoned them and left them without support. Her mother is unable to work, so the family depends on the kindness of relatives and the community for food. Many nights, Precious and her brother go to bed hungry. Education is Precious's only hope for a brighter future.
