Philip received a late start in school due to lack of fees. His family often eats one meal per day. The family does not have bedding, so Philip and his siblings sleep on the floor. Despite all of these hardships, Philip is a hard-working boy who is determined in his education. He promises to work very hard in school if given the chance.
