Nevil's father abandoned him and his mother, so Nevil and his mother live with his grandmother, who has been a peasant farmer from birth. His mother attends a trade school for tailoring to create a better living for her and Nevil, but is unable to draw a wage while she is a student. So she works the family farm after school to help provide. Nevil has been sent home from school many times because they are unable to pay his school fees. Sponsorship through Christian Relief Fund would not only help ensure that Nevil has plenty of food and clothing, but also a chance to get an education and grow to become a provider for himself and family.
