Nehemiah lives with both of his parents, but their home is marked by deep poverty. They desperately search to find any odd jobs in order to feed their family, yet food is still never enough, and the clothes he wears are old and torn. Many days he goes to school hungry, carrying not just his books but the weight of uncertainty about his future. Yet Nehemiah refuses to give up. He continues to study, dream, and hold on to hope for a life beyond daily survival.
