Nathaniel comes from a hard situation. His mother is not in his life and his father passed away a few years ago. Nathaniel and four siblings live with his grandmother. She is impoverished and cannot provide for them. They live in a mud hut without running water or electricity. Nathaniel gets only one meal a day, if any.
