Nataly dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up, but she doesn’t have the funds to stay in school. She has been raised by her mother alone after her father abandoned the family before she was born. Her mother struggles to afford the basic necessities. They often eat only one or two meals per day. Education is Nataly’s only hope to break free from the vicious cycle of poverty she has always known.
