Michelle tragically lost her father in 2018. Her extended family sent Michelle, her mother, and her two siblings away from their home and land. They lost everything due to the family rejection, and they had to start over again in the Nyalenda slums of Kisumu. Daily food and school fees are the biggest challenges for them.
