Poverty is forcing Melzedeck out of school. His parents struggle to feed six children and two grandchildren through unstable day labor. They live in a small borrowed home and face rejection from the community. Melzedeck often goes to school hungry, without supplies, and wearing a worn uniform. His teacher lets him stay despite unpaid fees, which won't last forever. Sponsorship is his only chance to stay in school and escape poverty.
