Lucia has had a difficult past. Her mother and her father abandoned her. Lucia lives with her grandparents. They are impoverished and struggle provide for Lucia and her younger sister. They live in a small one-bedroom house without electricity or running water. This young girl feels trapped in extreme poverty.
