Liam’s father passed away tragically from a severe head injury that caused excessive bleeding. His mother, Nancy, works in HIV testing and helps people access vital services. Although she has steady employment, her salary is not enough to fully support Liam and his sister, Kimberly. Liam is currently in preschool but already demonstrates a high IQ and a love for learning. Education is Liam's only hope to break free from the cycle of poverty.
