Leydi is the oldest of four children. Her family lives in a tiny concrete house in a poor neighborhood. Her father struggles to find consistent work. They live day-to-day. Leydi has no money for a school uniform or school supplies. Leydi has only known generations of hunger and desperation, but she dreams of finishing school and making a better future for himself.
