Durint tribal clashes on Mt. Elgon, several children were found living with the illegal fighters. They had been taken from their homes in various villages. Several of them were reunited with their families. However, Langton's family could not be found. Eventually he went to live with a foster mother. She is a widow who relies on farming for her only food and income, so it is a struggle to provide for Langton's basic needs. The little family lives in a small house made of woven reeds. Langton truly needs support.
