Joseph’s life is filled with hardship. His father is a day laborer, but steady work is difficult to find. His mother stays home to care for Joseph and his eleven siblings. His parents struggle to provide more than one meal a day for their family. Joseph and his twin sister were born three months premature and struggle with poor health. Education is Joseph's best hope for a bright future.
