Jane comes from a humble background. Her parents are deaf and use sign language to communicate. Jane and her siblings learned sign language at an early age so they could interact with their parents. Due to their hearing impairment, her parents face difficulties securing stable employment, making it challenging to meet the family’s basic needs. Education is Jane's best hope for a successful future.
