Jane faces discrimination each day as she tries to attend school. She comes from a traditional Maasai village where girls are not expected to go to school, but rather they are married young so that their parents can receive a bride price to help the family. Jane dreams of becoming a doctor. She is at the top of her class in school and does not want to drop out. Her parents accept her dreams, but they cannot afford the cost of her school fees.
