Isaac is the youngest of five children. His father works as a day laborer, but steady work is hard to find. His mother sells vegetables, but her income depends on the availability of fresh produce. Together, his parents struggle to provide the basic necessities for their large family. Many nights, the family eats only one meal a day, and sometimes they go to bed without eating. Education is Isaac's path to life filled with possibility.
