Iman comes from a polygamous family. Iman’s father, Thomas, has a tough time finding steady work and struggles to provide his family’s needs. His mother, Agnes, is a hairdresser but her income is unpredictable. Iman’s parents can only afford one meal a day but sometimes Iman and his three siblings go without eating. Education is Iman’s only hope to break the cycle of poverty.
