Hope is a very bright student who ranks at the top of her class. Her parents are divorced, and her father does not support his children. Her mother was unable to fully provide for Hope and her brother so she was admitted to the Sommer Girls Dormitory at Ring Road School.  Hope now lives in a safe environment where her needs are met and she can focus on learning and growing. Education is Hope's best chance to break free from the cylce of poverty.
