Godfrey is a young boy who lives with his mother and school-aged brother. Sadly, Godfrey’s father passed away from HIV/AIDS. His mother works as a day laborer, but she struggles with substance abuse, which affects her ability to work consistently. Most days they go to bed hungry. Education is Godfrey's only hope to break the cycle of poverty.
