Genesis lives in harsh living conditions with her parents and two older siblings. Her father works in construction and struggles to afford the basic necessities. Food is scarce, and there is also no money to pay for Genesis' school unifom and supplies. Education is Genesis’ only hope to break free from the vicious cycle of poverty she has always known.
