Felix’s young life has been marked by loss and sadness. His father passed away, leaving his mother to care for him and his three siblings alone. She works as a day laborer, but her income is low and unreliable. There were many nights Felix and his family went to bed hungry. Now living at the orphanage, he receives food, medical care, and a stable environment. Education is Felix's best hope for a life filled with possibility.
