Faith is in second grade and currently lives at Lakeside Orphanage. Her father abandoned the family, leaving her mother to support the children through irregular day labor. Faith’s two younger siblings live with their mother in a one-room rental house. Despite these circumstances, Faith remains cheerful and eager to learn. Education is Faith's best hope to break the cycle of poverty.
