Ezekiel is a bright little boy who lives with his parents and his younger sibling. His father works as a day laborer, but steady employment is difficult to find, and his income is inconsistent. His mother stays home to care for the children. Because of the family’s financial struggles, meeting their basic needs can be a daily challenge. Many days, the family has only one meal, and there are times when they go to bed hungry. Education is Ezekiel's only hope for a life filled with possibility.
