Eve’s family lives in poverty, but their home is grounded in faith and hope. Her father, Kyeyune, preaches at a small rural church and does not receive a salary because his congregation also faces financial hardship. Eve’s parents struggle to consistently meet their basic needs. Education is Eve’s only hope to break free from the cycle of poverty.
