Emma's mother died during the birth of her tenth child. Soon after, Emma's father abandoned the family. Emma went to stay with her elderly grandparents along with her two younger brothers. Emma's grandparents depend on their adult children for food, but regular meals are not guaranteed. Tuition and school supplies are serious problems for the family to afford. Sponsorship would make a big difference for Emma.
