Elton’s life has been filled with hardship. After his parents divorced, his father stopped supporting the family. His mother works odd jobs to provide for her children, but steady work is hard to find. Many days, the family eats only one meal, and sometimes they go to bed hungry. Elton is a very bright student, and education is his only hope for a better future.
