Elias is in a difficult situation. He does not know his father. His mother remarried, but according to their culture she could not bring along a child from a previous relationship. Elias was left under the care of his grandmother. This woman is physically disabled and cannot work at all or provide for small children like Elias. Eventually custody of him was given over to the Tarakwa Children's Village. Elias needs a helping hand.
