Extreme poverty is all Dylan knows. He lives with his parents in a small farming community. They struggle to afford food and clothing, depending on whether Dylan's father can find work. They live in a small adobe house with a dirt floor. There is no money to send Dylan to school. Education is Dylan’s only hope to break free from the vicious cycle of poverty he has always known.
