Extreme poverty is all Dulce knows. She lives with her parents and two siblings. Her father makes very little and struggles to provide for their family. They often eat only one or two meals per day. Dulce has only known generations of hunger and desperation, but she dreams of one day finishing school and making a better future for herself.
