Extreme poverty is all Dorianny knows. She lives with her parents and older brother. They struggle to afford food and clothing, depending on whether or not Dorianny's father is able to find work. Dorianny has only known generations of hunger and desperation, but she dreams of one-day finishing school and becoming a doctor.
