Daniel’s young life has been marked by adversity. Daniel and his seven-year-old sibling were left in the care of their elderly grandfather. who struggled to care properly for them. Thankfully, their aunt took them into her home. Their aunt works as a day laborer whenever work can be found. Unfortunately, work is scarce and her income is uncertain. Education is Daniel's only hope to break free from the cycle of poverty.
