Damaris lives with her foster family in the remote Turkana region of Kenya, where survival is a daily struggle. Her family earns just $5 a month by herding goats for others, barely enough to get by. Water is scarce, and the harsh, dry landscape makes life incredibly difficult. Like many in her nomadic community, she faces hunger, extreme poverty, and an uncertain future.
