Cynthia was rescued as a baby by her stepfather, who found her cold and hungry because her mother had no means to care for her. Still, Cynthia lives in poverty with her two siblings, not having enough to eat and sleeping on torn mattresses. Her stepfather, once employed, now struggles to find work, provide food, or pay school fees. Sponsorship would allow Cynthia the opportunity to stay in school and work toward a better future.
