Cliffton's father suffered a serious chest injury while working in construction and can no longer perform heavy labor. His mother also struggles with a chronic chest condition requiring expensive monthly injections. With both parents facing health challenges, the family has fallen behind on rent and school fees and struggles to afford food, clothing, and basic necessities. Cliffton relies on donated clothing, and his teachers allow him to remain in school despite unpaid fees. However, this support cannot continue indefinitely.
