Briden's father passed away, leaving his mother to raise the family on her own. However, she was unable to care for Briden and his four siblings. As a result, they are now living with their aunt. She sells vegetables on the roadside, but her income is unreliable because fresh produce is not always available. Despite her hard work, she struggles to provide the basic necessities for her own children as well as for Briden and his siblings. Education is Briden's best hope for a future filled with possibility.
