Anthia is very smart and loves learning. Anthia comes from a polygamous family. Her father, Geoffrey, left his wives and children in search of work, leaving his wives behind to provide for their children. Her mother, Ruth, stays home to take care of their large family. Anthia’s mother can only afford one meal a day but sometimes they go without eating. Anthia has only known hunger and desperation, but she hopes to finish school someday and make a better future for her and her family.
