Ann’s young life has been marked by hardship, yet she brings joy wherever she goes. After her parents’ separation, her father left the family without support. Her mother works hard to care for Ann and her eight siblings. However, without formal education or job training, she struggles to provide for all their needs. Most nights Ann and her family go to bed hungry. Education is Ann's best hope for a future filled with possibility.
