Alejandro dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up. His father works in a factory and struggles to provide for Alejandro and his two siblings. They often eat only one or two meals per day. There is no money to send the three children to school. Education is Alejandro’s only hope to break free from the vicious cycle of poverty he has always known.
